Our Family
With farming in both of our DNA it was only a matter time before we were called back to live and work on the land. We have always dreamt of raising a family in the countryside. In 2018 we made the move from the city and are now delighted be be able to offer our two sons (9 and 11 years old) all the opportunities and lifestyle that growing up on a farm offers.
With a culmination of experiences gained from our respective industries of Agriculture, Hospitality and Event management, plus over a decade of studies and courses preparing us for this moment. We could not be more ready to make this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity a success.
Our Dreams and Passion
Our mission at Glendalough Farm is to demonstrate how to provide nutrient-dense beef directly to our customer, whilst repairing the environment. We believe that it is essential, that we as a species, work out how to feed ourselves with healthy food and at the same time improve the landscapes where that food is produced. To do this we are using a grazing method that mimics the way herbivores move across grasslands in the wild. We want to develop a close relationship with our customers and build a community of likeminded people in order to build trust and to educate, as we believe that the managing of livestock is one of the most pressing issues of our time.
